Special benefits of the Amtrak Rail Passes
- Low Price
- Compared to the other means of transportations, this is the cheapest way to travel in the U.S.
- Convenience
- These Rail Passes are so convenient because you can go anywhere in the area anytime you wish to travel. In addition, train travel is convenient because train stations are usually at the center of each city. Unlike departing or arriving at the Airport, your train stations are only a few minutes away from your hotel. (It also saves you transportation cost to and from your hotel.)
- Scenery
- America offers a colorful variety of beautiful scenic nature and cityscapes. Why not sit by the window and enjoy the grand view of nature, small towns, big cities and people passing by in front of you. You can not do this by traveling on an airplane !
- No waiting
- There is less waiting in line at the train station compared to airports. Also, train travel does not require you to be at the station 2 hours prior to the departure time like the airlines do. You come to the station, get your ticket and hop on the train ! It is quick and simple.
- Safety
- Traveling by train is one of the safest ways to travel in the U.S. Amtrak trains have one of the most advanced technologies in the world and are handled by well trained expert technicians and engineers.
- Flexibility
- Rail Passes are valid for 6 months after you buy them. If you cancel your trip to the U.S. after you bought the Rail Pass, your Rail Pass is valid for another 6 months. Also, there is no penalty for changing your travel plans. If you plan to go to Boston from New York, but you changed your mind and decide to go to Niagara Falls, it's no problem! All you have to do is to get a new ticket for a different train at no additional charge.
